Nordheim is known in the local area for its "Hallingbord" a buffet were we serve traditional recipies
from the area from past and present.
We serve Serve;
Gin & Einebær marineated salmon with mustard sauce
Småmat with lefsekling,
Cured meats including Smoked Elk
(smoked by our chef Per)
Rakafisk (salted salmon)
Prim
a cheese made from cow milk
Lapper ( similar to scotch panckes)
Sour Cream porridge
Dylle - dessert cooked from rice until it gets a caramel taste.
Brisketreak - an olden day confect made from juniper berries
