During the summer we have a fantastic nature surrounding the lodge, with many possibilities for rambling, walking, cycling through the nearby mountain areas. Fishing, canoeing, row boats on nearby Vats fjord and bathing either in nearby hotels or in natures own mountain lakes. Horse riding, mountain farm visit, and our popular “Halling aften” are also some of the activities which you can experience. One of the highest points in Ål is the top of “Reineskarvet” (1780 m. above sea level). Here you will find the well known tourist area – known as “Bergsjø -området". This area lies idealistic between two mountain plateaus “Reineskarvet” and “Hallingskarvet”.
Relax next to one of the mountain lakes and enjoy the tranquil silence whilst you wait for the fish to bite.
